Contractor Nation - Daily Work
As the Senior Motion Graphics Designer at Contractor Nation, I oversee everything motion graphics that gets put out from the company, from one off videos to ongoing series, and I have a hand in designing most of it. Below are examples of my day to day work.
One of the most exciting opportunities in my position is when I get to work on a new ad campaign, with the humorous "Protect Your Habitat" campaign being no different.
This campaign's aim is to be funny, attention-grabbing, and to feel very modern, so I complimented it with smoothly animated, clean graphics that get the contact information and necessary branding out there to the viewer in a subdued way. I was honored to receive two bronze medals from the 2024 Telly Awards (one in the Business To Consumer category, and one in the Products & Services category), along with the rest of the Contractor Nation Media Team, for our work on the ads.

This ad campaign stars seven different types of animals, spanning TV and social media alike, so the template I created for the graphics is thoroughly streamlined, accounting for every variation a customer could request. Each ad also features the owner of the company on the end slate with the featured animal, which I Photoshop for every dealer.




Above are is the 2023 edition of Treehouse Marketing Wrapped, a series of videos sent out to the dealers at the end of each year to communicate the strides that Contractor Nation's marketing department has made lately. The motion graphics package I created is fun and inviting, fitting for the holiday season the videos are released around, with eye-catching call-outs for important information to communicate the progress the company has seen to its customers.


Above is a combination of rotoscoping and text animation that I did for a dealer network recruitment video, which highlights key moments in the video with subtle but strong text work that emphasize the strength of the network.
